Chingari LIVE:
Welcome to “Chingari Live'' the live streaming
feature of the Chingari Application powered by
Tech4Billion Media Private Limited. By accessing
Chingari Live and any of its subdomains
(collectively known as the “Chingari App”), you agree to the
following Terms and Conditions of use, which may
be updated from time to time at our sole discretion.
You have also accepted the Chingari Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and other terms available on the Chingari App, Chingari Website, or otherwise. Please read these documents carefully.
This Agreement is between you (“User”, “You”, “Yours”) and Chingari or any of its subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively referred to as “Chingari Live”). By using this application, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age or older (or represented by a parent/legal guardian if applicable).
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Chingari provides a live streaming feature where users can broadcast live video content through their registered Chingari accounts.
To access and use this feature, you must meet the following requirements:
- You must have at least 1,000 subscribers.
- You must have a verified Chingari Account.
- You must use a device with Android version 6.0 or higher, or iOS version 10.0 or higher.
All live-streamed content must comply with these Terms, the Community Guidelines, Privacy Policy, and applicable laws and regulations.
Your followers and viewers can interact with you during live sessions via likes, comments, and chat.
You represent that you hold all necessary licenses and rights for any media used in your live stream (including music, video, and other copyrighted works). Use of unlicensed or unauthorized media may result in suspension or termination of your account.
Chingari is not responsible for any activity occurring under your account name.
Chingari reserves the right to remove, suspend, or terminate any live broadcast found to be in violation of these Terms, Community Guidelines, or applicable laws.
You shall not use the live streaming service in restricted or prohibited areas such as concerts, sporting events, or private venues without appropriate permissions.
Chingari may modify, add, or remove features of the live streaming service at any time for operational or legal reasons.
USER PARTICIPATION IN CHINGARI LIVE:
1 . Step 1: CREATION OF LIVE ROOM

To create a live room, you must:
- Provide a name, category, and thumbnail.
- Log in using a registered mobile number, Google account, or Truecaller.
- Complete the profile creation form.
- After setup, you will access live features such as beauty filters, flip camera, mute/unmute, and settings.
- Both Android (v6.0+) and iOS (v10.0+) users can use this feature.
- You may connect using Wi-Fi or mobile data.
- Each live session lasts up to 60 minutes.
- You can choose your preferred language for live streaming.
2 . Step 2: LIVE SCREEN
- You (the creator) will be the host of your live stream.
- You may invite or approve other users to join your live broadcast.
- You can share the live room link via social platforms such as Telegram, WhatsApp, Messenger, etc.
3 . Step 3: LIVE ROOM VISIBILITY
- Live streams are discoverable after every few feeds.
- Users can explore active live rooms by category or searching the room name.
4 . Step 4 : LIVE ROOM FEATURES:
- A live room includes: Room name, viewers list, tools (comment box, invite user, request access, share link).
- A live room can have 1 to 4 users simultaneously.
- The host can invite, assign moderators, or remove users as needed.
- Users can send “virtual gifts (diamonds)” to others during live streams. Creators may promote their services or brands using “diamonds” within their wallets.
GROUNDS FOR SUSPENSION OR TERMINATION OF LIVE BROADCASTING:
You agree that you shall not host, display, upload, modify, publish, transmit, store, update or share any information that:
Is grossly harmful, harassing, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, libellous, invasive of privacy, hateful, or otherwise unlawful.
Harms minors.
Infringes any intellectual property rights.
Violates any law in force.
Misleads users or impersonates another person.
Contains viruses, malware, or harmful code.
Threatens India’s unity, integrity, or public order.
Promotes discrimination, violence, or hate speech.
You acknowledge that all live-streamed content is solely the responsibility of the user. Chingari does not endorse or take responsibility for content posted by users.
Illegal online activities such as harassment, child exploitation, fraud, phishing, or identity theft are punishable under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Indian Penal Code, 1860.
PROMOTIONS AND LIVE BROADCASTING:
- Users must inform marketing@chingari.io prior to engaging in any paid promotion.
- Users must not make false, misleading, or defamatory statements.
- Promotion of illegal, harmful, or restricted products/services is strictly Prohibited.
- Users must comply with the Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) and related regulations.
INDEMNITY:
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Chingari, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising from your breach of these Terms, the Privacy Policy, or applicable laws.
EXCLUSION OF WARRANTIES:
The services are provided “as is” without any warranties. We do not guarantee that services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Implied warranties regarding quality, fitness for purpose, or merchantability are expressly excluded.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
Chingari shall not be liable to you for any loss or damages or claims including but not limited to the following :
- Loss of profit, opportunity, or goodwill.
- Loss of data.
- Damages due to reliance on advertisements or third-party content.
- Damages from service changes, interruptions, or termination.
- Any actions or omissions by other users.
- All disputes between users and third parties are solely between those parties.
GOVERNING LAW: These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION: Disputes shall be resolved by arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The tribunal shall consist of three arbitrators. Arbitration shall be conducted in Bangalore, Karnataka, in the English language.
Courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
SEVERABILITY:
If any provision of this Agreement is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

We will endeavor to resolve grievances within one month of receipt. Details under Rule 4(1)(d) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 regarding content removed under grievance redressal are available upon request.
